If we're not supposed to dance, why all this music?

This journal is mostly musings about day-to-day stuff. I try not to be too boring, but it is mainly just me talking to myself. I do sometimes find myself amusing, though, so you might, too.

Born in Central New York during the "baby bust", I went to a small women's college and earned a highly lucrative B.A. in Theater, with a music minor. (I suppose my B.A. could've theoretically been lucrative, if I had pursued a career in that area, instead of becoming an office drone...) I relocated to Portland in 1994, and I love it here! I was a massage therapist, briefly, but didn't like running my own business. I have a Masters in Library Science, and anxiously await the opportunity to really put it to work...

I have a wonderful wife and two kids, but I mostly post about 'em under the "friends" lock, for security, so I'm not putting much info about them here.

You can learn a tiny bit about me by reading my interests, but of course, they just barely scratch the surface. I am an enigma, wrapped up in a mystery, blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda, and so forth. ;)
